Meet Your Instructors Brian & Scott

We came together as friends with one mission: to raise the standard of education in our industry. Brian brings years of experience in SMP and PMU, while Scott brings a decade of tattooing and mentoring apprentices. Together, we co-created CTC to combine artistry, real-world shop experience, and hands-on training that helps students grow with confidence.

Hello, I'm Brian!

I’m the founder of Scalp New England and have spent years helping students master the craft of SMP and PMU. Over the course of my career, I’ve trained dozens of artists and guided them toward building successful careers in the industry.

What drives me is making education approachable, professional, and hands-on—so students don’t just learn, but leave confident and prepared to take on real clients. With a strong background in both business and artistry, I bring practical insight into what it takes to succeed in this growing field.

My Story

I built my career around helping people gain confidence through SMP and PMU. From founding Scalp New England to training dozens of artists, I’ve seen how the right guidance can transform both clients and students. CTCT is my way of sharing that experience—hands-on, real-world training to set you up for success..

Hello, I'm Scott!

I’m the owner of Intricate Ink Tattoo and have spent the last 10 years performing the art of tattooing. Along the way, I’ve built a thriving shop, mentored apprentices, and developed a deep understanding of both the artistry and the business of tattooing. What drives me is bringing the depth, precision, and theory of traditional tattooing into the world of cosmetic tattooing. My goal is to make learning hands-on, professional, and approachable, so students leave not only skilled, but confident and ready for real clients.  With a strong background in artistry, business, and mentorship, I bring practical insight and advanced theory to help you grow as a cosmetic tattoo artist and succeed in this industry.

Think Like an Entrepreneur

My courses don’t stop at the art. I teach systems, pricing strategies, and branding so you can grow a sustainable career, not just a skill.

Build Your Client Experience.

Technical skills matter, but so does how you greet clients, explain procedures, and follow up. Growth happens when clients trust you and refer others.
